A friend's birthday

I embarked on making a card for a special friend who is a master at card making herself!! So I had to come up with a special, different masterpiece. Not so sure about it being a "masterpiece" but I think I did a pretty good job!! I even crocheted the flower!!

Baby Shower invitations

I thought I would start using my blog again. Not so much for the big wide world, (although if that happens - great!) but for myself to keep track of what I make! Here are some baby shower invitations that I made for my new and very special friend Kate. They took me ages but I loved doing it and I love the outcome!

Playing in WA

I have been in WA since beginning of December and I haven't done much card making. But my Mother In-Law invited a few crafty friends around to play and I managed to make some. I even made a card for last weeks JAI sketch challenge and went to post it only to remember that it was after midnight over East and 9:30pm here!! ARGHHH!! So i missed out - oh well!! Posting anyway!

I love this card I made if I don't say so myself!! I bought the big shot a couple of months ago and love the vintage wallpaper embossing folder!! This was my Step Mum's 60th birthday card.

I haven't died. I'm just pregnant and stamping wasn't on the agenda!! I haven't entered a challenge for AGES!! I made a baby card for a friend of mine and thought that it was in keeping with this weeks JAI challenge!! So here tis!!

Post it Note Holders

I made these a little while ago with the intent of posting on my blog but since I am terrible at keeping up with blogging (I do have great intentions) I am terribly late. What has really given me a swift kick up the bum is my friend Narelle asked how to make them. So now I am trying to write down instructions that actually make sense... And I thought the easiest way to show her a picture was to put these cute post it note holders on my blog.

I am taking the liberty to post my friend Gis's card on my blog because I love it!! And enter her into this weeks JAI challenge too! Gis kept saying "I'm not into making cards much" and then when we got together she was OBSESSED and made some amazing cards!! I talked her into buying some DSP too!! HEHE sucker!!
