Post it Note Holders

I made these a little while ago with the intent of posting on my blog but since I am terrible at keeping up with blogging (I do have great intentions) I am terribly late. What has really given me a swift kick up the bum is my friend Narelle asked how to make them. So now I am trying to write down instructions that actually make sense... And I thought the easiest way to show her a picture was to put these cute post it note holders on my blog.

I am taking the liberty to post my friend Gis's card on my blog because I love it!! And enter her into this weeks JAI challenge too! Gis kept saying "I'm not into making cards much" and then when we got together she was OBSESSED and made some amazing cards!! I talked her into buying some DSP too!! HEHE sucker!!

I'm Back!!

I have been away for ages!! I don't know how every one can keep up with blogging!! I promised Danielle that I would enter this weeks JAI challenge. And I'm so glad I liked this weeks challenge!! It has been easy to keep my promise!! So here is my entry. I had a lovely time getting together with two of some precious friends, Giselle and Narelle! We tackled the challenge together!!

Well I had a great time with my "downline" that is I joke that Danielle is really my 'upline' because she knows more than me and Tania is my UP upline! Anyway regardless of SU titles (which is really beside the point) I had a lovely time stamping and talking no end with some really great girl friends! I DID manage to make a card!! Here it is!! And it loosely follows this weeks Just-Add-Ink challenge!

What a cool idea to have a blog hop linked with this weeks Just-Add-Ink challenge!! Well done team! I have to say that I fell in love with making paper beads!!! Thanks Bronwyn for your beautiful card and for inspiring me!! I wish I finished my card in the daylight because it is so darned hard to photograph and do the card justice at nighttime!! And I'm not at Danielle's to get her to photograph it for me :) !!

Invitation

This year I suddenly found myself with a downline!! After three years I have a team!! I didn't set out to sign people up, I do Stampin' Up! because I LOVE it and it is a great way of meeting new people and making friends! Especially when you are a Mum of little children, so most of your day is filled with kiddy talk!! Anyway...I must say I have the BEST Stampin' Up! downline!! They are all inspiring and beautiful people. So I really wanted to spoil them. Hence I have invited them to Dinner at Danielle's (cos she has the greatest stamping work space/haven ever!!). Although it is at Dan's I AM making dinner!! Hehe! These are the invites I made!!

Friends

I got together with my friend Narelle last night to randomly make cards. We decided to do the JAI16 challenge. I was quite challenge frustrated and put out that I had to have Pretty in Pink with Ruby Red (thanks Dan!). Narelle on the other hand made an amazing card!! Anyway even though I didn't leave Narelle's till after midnight and I STILL hadn't finished my card, I dreamt about it all night and got up and finished the darned thing!! Anyway Narelle...this one is in honour of you!! I had a great night stamping and chatting!!
